The Summer 2026 VR Games Showcase was one of the biggest single days of the year for the Flat2VR family, with both Flat2VR Studios and Impact Inked taking the stage to show off where their lineups are headed next.
The headline reveal was a new "Disney Movie Magic" song pack for Trombone Champ: Unflattened, bringing six classic Disney tracks — pulled from Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King — into the rhythm game's VR world, complete with themed environments including one that shrinks the player down against an oversized toy-box-sized world. On the Impact Inked side, the showcase gave the first real gameplay look at I Am Your Beast VR and unveiled R.A.I.D., a new co-op VR shooter from FusionPlay where players work as customs agents boarding hostile ships aboard a space station.
Elsewhere, VRacer Hoverbike picked up news of a fresh content wave following its Track Editor update, and FlatOut 4 VR's Early Access progress got a check-in ahead of its full launch. Between rhythm games, racers, tactical shooters, and co-op roguelites, the showcase made clear both studios are leaning further into original VR content alongside their usual flatscreen-to-VR ports.
