Roboquest VR Launches on Quest 3 With Full Cross-Platform Co-Op

Roboquest VR has completed its journey across every major headset. Flat2VR Studios released the Meta Quest 3 and 3S version today, and with it comes a free update that Guardians on every platform have been waiting for: real cross-platform co-op.

Two players can now team up through Quickplay, room codes, or direct friend invites — regardless of whether they're on Quest, PlayStation VR2, or SteamVR. The update carries over shared campaign progression, weapon trading between teammates, individual loot drops, and cooperative revives, so a run started solo on one headset can be finished shoulder-to-shoulder with a friend on another.

The rollout wasn't originally supposed to take this long. Co-op was first slated to launch alongside the Quest port back in May, but Flat2VR Studios pushed the update by two months to make sure the netcode held up across all three platforms at once rather than shipping something shaky. Roboquest VR previously picked up "PC VR Game of the Year 2025" honors for how faithfully it translated the roguelite shooter into VR, and this update is the piece that was still missing.
