I Am Your Beast VR Roars Into PC VR Early Access Later This Year

I Am Your Beast is heading into VR. Impact Inked and the Flat2VR Spark program — the initiative that pairs experienced VR modders with developers who want their games ported into headsets — have confirmed the acclaimed covert-revenge shooter is coming to SteamVR in Early Access later this year.

The original flatscreen game, released by Strange Scaffold in 2024, holds an "Overwhelmingly Positive" rating across more than four thousand Steam reviews. In it, players take on the role of Alphonse Harding, a retired secret agent hunted across the North American wilderness by the Covert Operations Initiative after refusing one last job. The VR version keeps the fast, improvisational structure intact: replayable micro-sandbox levels built around climbing, ambushing, disarming, and reading each encounter on the fly.

The VR adaptation was unveiled with fresh gameplay footage at the Summer 2026 VR Games Showcase, and it's shaping up to be one of the more distinct entries in Impact Inked's growing lineup of original VR titles — a step further from Flat2VR's usual flatscreen ports and closer to genuinely rebuilding a game's core loop for headset play.
